About Reddy Rents
In 1963, Jack Fitzgerald and his uncle, Bill Jasper, saw a need for a rental equipment store to serve the needs of homeowners and general contractors in the west metro area. Together they opened the first Reddy Rents store at 4909 Excelsior Blvd. which had just 1200 square feet. Over the years Reddy Rents grew and expanded into our two current locations in J&F and South Hiawatha with over 25,000 square feet of building space and more than two acres for equipment storage. Today our two stores have more than 25 employees and continue to be owned and operated by Jack's family.
Reddy Rents specializes in rental equipment for construction, landscaping, and building maintenance as well as trucks, trailers, and cars. We strive to deliver exceptional customer service and meet our customer’s needs with top quality, well-maintained equipment, and vehicles. Our customers have been both homeowners and contractors in the Twin Cities metro area including St. Louis Park, Minneapolis, St. Paul, Bloomington, Eagan, Edina, Golden Valley, Hopkins, Mendota Heights, Minnetonka, Plymouth, and Richfield.
Our team members are trained to assist you in finding the right tool for your job. Our goal is to help our customers work more efficiently and cost-effectively by matching them up the proper tools for their job.
Both locations have a full fleet of trucks, trailers, and moving supplies. Our trucks include cargo vans, full-size pickup trucks, as well as larger box trucks. We also have in stock homeowner and contractor rental equipment including skid steer loaders (Bobcats), excavators, pneumatic staplers and nail guns, scaffolding and ladders, air compressors, lawn and garden equipment, and much more. We continue to add to our inventory based on the needs of our customers.
